In Rostov, on the territory of the Don rowing canal, the tribune overturned. Seven children and one man were injured, one woman died, writes the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Rostov Region.
The incident happened at 16:25 on Poymennaya street, 2a. Rescuers are on the scene. A 161.RU correspondent called the administration of the Rowing Canal, but no one answered the calls.
Update. At 17:25 the number of victims increased to eight: a man and seven children. The Ministry of Emergency Situations added that there were regarding 30 people in the stands – the stadium hosted football competitions among children born in 2010, the Rostov-Bataysk teams played.
