In the press service of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko uncovered details of his visit to the Russian Far East. A joint visit with Putin to the Vostochny cosmodrome in the Amur region is scheduled for April 12, and the next day the Belarusian president will arrive in Vladivostok.

The visit to the cosmodrome is associated not only with Cosmonautics Day, but also with the recent news that they plan to continue building the infrastructure of the facility attract Belarusian specialists. It is reported that the heads of state will get acquainted with the progress of the construction of the launch space complex, talk with cosmonauts and employees of the cosmodrome, and also discuss joint measures to counter sanctions one-on-one, after which they will give a press conference.

After that, Alexander Lukashenko will visit Primorsky Krai. On April 13, in Vladivostok, he will meet with the governor of the Primorsky Territory, Oleg Kozhemyako. The main topic of the talks will be cooperation between Belarus and the Far East region of Russia. The delegations will discuss the implementation of current projects and new areas of cooperation. In particular, the focus will be on issues of trade in a wide range of positions and the supply of fish products to the Belarusian market.

It is planned that the president will also visit Russky Island, where he will get acquainted with the implementation of a number of infrastructure, social and cultural projects in the Primorsky Territory.

Recall that following the results of the elections on August 9, 2020, Alexander Lukashenko became the President of Belarus for the sixth time, who scored 80.1% of the vote. True, after that the republic continued for a long time massive protests, thousands of people were detained, hundreds were injured, some died.
