Magda El Roumi is sponsoring the rehabilitation of “The Road of Death” after the death of George El Rassi

Sadness is still hanging over the Lebanese artistic community, after the death of the Lebanese artist George El RassiIn a tragic accident on the international road between Lebanon and Syria, Awad El Roumi, director of works for the great artist Magda El Roumi, confirmed that she had undertaken the rehabilitation of this road, up to the entrances to the city of Anjar in the Bekaa region in eastern Lebanon, where warning signs and lights were installed to avoid accidents in dangerous areas.

According to Awad Al-Roumi, during statements to “Sky News”, that the road will be inaugurated on Wednesday, as Al-Rassi died as a result of his car colliding with the cement separator, at the Masnaa border point in the Bekaa.

Al-Roumi continued, “This initiative and funding for the rehabilitation of the road came from the office of Magda El-Roumi, and under the supervision of the Engineering Regiment in the Lebanese Army, where Magda El-Roumi’s office ensured the implementation of the road to prevent the recurrence of accidents.”

He continued, “Wednesday, the road will be ready and safe for everyone after it has been rehabilitated. New lights and signals have been installed at a distance of 200 meters to warn drivers of danger, and a reflector has been installed and all precautions have been taken to avoid traffic accidents.”

And on Monday evening, the Al-Rassi family sent a letter of thanks to the Lebanese star for the rehabilitation of “The Road of Death”, and the artist, Nadine Al-Rassi, George’s sister, sent a letter of thanks to Magda El Roumi through her electronic accounts, in which she said: “I and the entire family of El Rassi greet and thank you to our dear and dear sister Magda El Roumi and the Lebanese army.” With your blood, my brother, the road to death has become a road to cross.”
