At around 12:30 p.m., the police carried out a major operation on Haflinger Strasse in Halle-Neustadt, not far from the “Rosa Luxemburg” elementary school. A witness revealed that a person fired a gun into the air from a balcony. Police forces were able to find people in the affected apartment and, during a search, found a pistol. Further investigations continue.
