In a response to Chelsea’s divorce filing, Jeff says: AND! News to know that he is ‘bewildered’. Then he hangs out a lot of dirty laundry. For example, Chelsea would start an argument with him and be “derogatory or disrespectful” to him, and then “pick out her phone and record my response, as if to call me out for speaking in a hostile or aggressive manner.” But according to Jeff, the Selling Sunset-real estate agent is precisely the one who is angry and even uses physical violence against him.
He gives as an example: “About a year ago [Chelsea] me in the face, breaking my glasses and causing a small cut on the side of my face. I have [Chelsea] never touched in a physically aggressive manner.”
He also accuses his wife of ‘suspicious behavior’. Since she filed for divorce, some of his personal belongings are said to have disappeared or been moved from the California home.
According to Chelsea’s papers that TMZ she gave ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for the divorce. She is also said to have requested shared custody of their five-year-old son and three-year-old daughter. The reality star has not yet publicly responded to the news. Chelsea and Jeff met through Tinder in 2015 and tied the knot two years later.
Viewers of Selling Sunset were introduced to the outspoken Chelsea and her husband in the fifth season. There seemed to be no problem in the reality show, but of course the cameras don’t get to see everything.
