For 5 weeks, feedback has multiplied among subscribers, in particular on the Freebox Delta. The observation is the same for everyone, their WiFi speed was suddenly reduced significantly. “Since yesterday’s update, I have my 5 GHz speed on the 160 MHz band which is limited to 300 Mbits/s against 950 Mbits/s until now. Identified by the developers of Free, this concern for reducing the WiFi speed limited to 500Mbit/s instead of 1Gbit/s when the bandwidth is configured at 160Mhz, has obviously given the operator a hard time. Since we had to wait until May 16 and a new firmware 4.5.8so that the problem is finally solved.
