This past weekend, everything in Marbella was a celebration. The local team prevailed at home against Real Jaén in a duel valid for the last date of the RFEF Third Division of Spain, and in this way sealed the long-awaited Olympic return, and by the way, promotion to the Second RFEF, the fourth Hispanic football category.
But the emotion that was experienced after 90 minutes later moved to a single figure in particular: the goalkeeper of the champion team, Alberto Lejárraga, who with great courage decided to celebrate in his own way: revealing his homosexuality.
In the middle of the field, during the festivities, Lejárraga “cut off” his partner and kissed him in full view. In Spain, the press titled the snapshot as “the kiss of promotion”.
