The events will culminate tomorrow (25/3) with the military parade in the center of Athens, in front of the Monument to the Unknown Soldier.
The Minister of Education, Kyriakos Pierrakakis, made statements. “Today’s anniversary teaches us a lot. It teaches us that with faith, courage and strength our country, our people, can achieve miracles and especially if they are accompanied by unity and like-mindedness. Today we also celebrate the Sunday of Orthodoxy, a holiday which underlines the need for solidarity in church-state relations. Happy birthday to everyone, happy birthday Greece.”
