Volleyball Dominance and Record-Breaking Performances

Marco Island Academy’s volleyball team secured a thrilling 3-2 victory over Oasis, with Medney Garraux etching her name in the school’s history books. Garraux amassed 37 kills during the match, bringing her career total to an unprecedented 1,315. Rylee Howard, Madison Stolinas, Guiliana Batelli, and Sophia Ogdin also contributed significantly to the Rays’ success.

Elsewhere, Riverdale defeated Gateway 3-0, powered by Olivia Znotens, who achieved a new career milestone of 1,159 kills. Gulf Coast also claimed a 3-0 win against Community school of Naples,with impressive showings from Sophia Schultz,Juliette VanWagner,and Alyssa Tadysak.

Estero extended their winning streak to 6-0 with a 3-0 victory over North Fort Myers, led by Brooke smith and Delyna Kerry. fort Myers also secured a 3-0 win against Bonita Springs, showcasing the talents of Addi Sprecher, Zoe Sandadi, and Olivia German. ECS triumphed over Ida Baker in a 3-0 sweep, while St. John Neumann defeated SFCA 3-1. First baptist completed a clean sweep against Palmetto Ridge, and Bishop Verot won against Babcock Ranch 3-1.

Swimming Achievements Shine in Local Competitions

Cape Coral and Estero dominated the pool in recent competitions. Cape Coral defeated Gateway with a resounding score of 271-15, while estero secured victories over Ida Baker (112-29) and Bonita Springs (111-14). Ida Baker also earned a win, topping Bonita Springs 52-17.

Standout performances included E. Scribner and I. Figueroa of Cape Coral, and Katia Bushko and ben Lopez of Estero. These athletes set impressive times and achieved personal bests.

Bowling Results: Cypress Lake and Ida Baker Lead
