It’s not just about careers Maria Santner steeply uphill, the professional dancer and entrepreneur has also found happiness in her private life. Born in Upper Austria, she was once seen as a dancer on “Dancing Stars”. Since 2021 she has next to Karina Sarkissova and Balázs Ekker a fixed place in the jury of the Austrian dance show. Santner also has every reason to be happy privately: As can be seen from her Instagram account, the “Dancing Stars” judge has her fiancé Marco Angelini got married.
Santner and Angelini: Summer Wedding in Austria
Santner has a daughter with her former Dancing Stars dance partner who was born in September 2020. On November 19, 2021, Angelini asked for his loved one’s hand in the Dancing Stars semifinals.
“I was completely blown away. I really didn’t expect it. It was very emotional and a wonderful moment,” Santner told KURIER about the marriage proposal after her lover had asked for her hand live in the ballroom. “The proposal in the ballroom was really nice, because it closes a circle, because we also got to know and love each other at Dancing Stars.”
Meanwhile, Santner and Angelini have said “yes”. The couple got married on July 7th at Weingut Hirschmugl in Upper Austria. Santner shared a photo of herself and the groom with Angelini in a gorgeous white wedding dress against a scenic backdrop. “Mr & Mrs Angelini-Santner,” she wrote under the romantic snap, which she captioned with a heart and a love emoji.
