“Goodbye, Dad….” he wrote Martin Dejdar on Instagram and added several pictures from the last farewell to his father Vlastimil Dejdar. He rested in the family tomb of the Dejdar and Trunc families.
The mourners formed a small crowd around the grave – the extended family and a number of other loved ones gathered (there was even a small baby), who covered the fresh grave with beautiful, colorful flowers. “Thinking of you all,” the singer told the survivors Marta Jandová (49).
Martin Dejdar published the sad news regarding his father’s death on January 26. “President-this! But it was the ride of the 85 years. You hardly stopped for a moment. And I’m happy that part of the ride we rode together. You have had a wonderful life and that fills us with joy in these sad days. Your boundless optimism brought you a peaceful end. Thanks God. And I believe you are already telling him what might be improved upstairs. I toast to your fulfilling life! Your imperfect son Martin,” stated the popular actor.
The audience may remember Vlastimil Dejdar from the comedy Sun, hay, erotica, where, thanks to his son, he portrayed the character of the leader of the Italian team Zolli. Although he never had acting ambitions, he stood in front of the camera one more time, in a film Old age is not for the faint of heart (2022). There he played once more with his son Martin, but also alongside his grandson Matěj (25), who is also an actor like his father.
