Marvel Snap is a new card game from former Hartstone developers

Marvel, publisher Nuverse, and developer Second Dinner Thursday announced a new card game for laptops and Windows: Marvel Snap. The game has been in development for four years and has been redesigned by rethinking some standard gaming elements like stone of enlightenment.

First, the developers promise a quick game, estimating that each battle will take about three minutes, noting that both players will be able to play at the same time rather than waiting for each other. The game also includes a number of new concepts, such as “link” mechanics that allow players to double themselves if they feel confident winning.

Founded by the former stone of enlightenment Game Ben Broad and former manager stone of enlightenment Actual producer Hamilton Chu, Second Dinner Development Studio, has a history with successful mobile titles — and in Chu’s case, a history that includes working as a producer on Bungie’s early Halo games.

we I first heard about the second dinner in 2019, when the studio announced plans to create a Marvel game and revealed that it had raised $30 million from NetEase. At the time, the company had five people, with plans to expand to 10-15 over the next few years. The studio currently has 48 employees on its website.
