The MBC Media Group inaugurated its headquarters in the capital, Riyadh, today, in the presence of the designated Minister of Information, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi, the Minister of Transport and Logistics, Engineer Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the MBC Group, Walid bin Ibrahim Al Ibrahim, and a group of media professionals and interested persons.
The ceremony began with the royal anthem, and then the audience watched a video presentation on the MBC Group’s television career.
During his speech at the ceremony, the Chairman of the Board of Directors expressed his happiness with the comprehensive renaissance and great development that Saudi Arabia is witnessing under the wise leadership – may God preserve them – and the unlimited support for the sectors of culture, creativity, media and entertainment.
He said: We are working with determination to make MBC Group one of the most prominent international media organizations, and the coming years will witness global works that draw their story from Arab history, inspired by its slogan from the saying of His Highness the Crown Prince: “Our ambition is the sky.”
