– A Geneva woman at the forefront of cancer vaccines

There is a lot of talk about therapeutic vaccines, but if research continues to progress, it often comes up against two pitfalls: either they do not provoke a strong enough immune response, or they only have an effect on a few patients. A biotechnology engineer, Geneva’s Madiha Derouazi has developed a technique that combines the different components of a vaccine in such a way that the immune response is strengthened.
