The Korean lacrosse men’s under-21 (U-21) team will participate in the 2022 U-21 World Lacrosse Championships.
The Korea Lacrosse Association said on the 8th, “The men’s U-21 national team will depart through Incheon International Airport on this day to participate in the World Championships held in Limerick, Ireland from the 10th to the 20th.” It’s the 4th time,” he said.
The U-21 team, led by coach Won Dong-woon, consisted of a total of 27 players, including 21 players and 6 staff. On the 6th, he played an evaluation match against the adult national team, spurring preparations for the tournament.
Coach Won said, “As they are the U-21 youth national team players who will lead Korea’s lacrosse in the future, all players and coaching staff will work together to show growth in every game.”
Starting with the Hong Kong match on the 11th local time, the national team will face off against the Netherlands (12th), Sweden (14th), and Uganda (15th). The ranking match and medal match will continue from the 16th to the 20th.
