Michal Vigoda Named CEO of Zimmer Group US and Canada

Michal Vigoda has been appointed as the new CEO of Zimmer Group U.S. and Canada. In his new position, Vigoda is set to guide the company’s regional strategy and operations, with a focus on business growth, customer relationships, and expanding brand presence throughout the automation markets in the United States and Canada.

Vigoda succeeds Vincent Zimmer, who spent the past five years serving as the managing director of Zimmer Group U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Vincent Zimmer is now returning to the company’s global headquarters located in Germany, though he will continue overseeing the company’s subsidiary in Mexico in his new role.

Leadership and Strategic Focus

Zimmer Group manufactures customized automation systems, handling components, and end-of-arm tools. According to the company, Vigoda brings a background in strong sales, leadership, and developing new business areas to his new post.

His experience in developing new business areas, combined with his strong sales and leadership background, makes him an excellent addition to Zimmer Group, Vincent Zimmer stated. He understands our industry, our customers, and what it takes to grow a German company in international markets. His experience will be a valuable asset as we continue to build our business and strengthen our position in North America.

North American Foundation and Growth Plans

Over the past decade, Zimmer Group U.S. has worked to establish a foundation across North America by growing its sales division, expanding its market presence, and forming lasting relationships with regional customers and partners.

These achievements reflect the dedication of our team and the progress we have made in bringing Zimmer Group’s engineering expertise and automation solutions to the North American market, Vincent Zimmer said, adding that the company holds ambitious plans for continued growth across the U.S. and Canada as Vigoda takes the helm alongside the existing team.
