The two met while recording “Wetten, dass..?” backstage again, it “sparked”. Tonight, the two want to show themselves side by side on Italian television for the first time – but “only” as a duet partner!

The 43-year-old with Italian roots is considered to be one of the most successful hit stars and inspires with his very own versions of great German hits in Italian. He even has his own Saturday night show on TV since September last year. However, he has so far been denied the big breakthrough in his parents’ home country – and this is where Michelle comes into play.
“We decided on ‘Wetten, dass..?’ met again in November after a long time behind the scenes with Thomas Gottschalk and hatched the plan,” says the former Bro’Sis singer of “Bild”. Giovanni will make his first appearance on Italian television tonight (February 23) – on Michelle’s new TV show ‘Michelle Impossible’ (8:15 p.m., Canale 5)
Together, the two will, among other things, Catarina Valente-Sing the hit song “Come with me to Italy”. This should make a big dream come true for Giovanni: now he’s also becoming a star in Bella Italia!

“I’m super excited, proud and thankful to Michelle. When you know that the whole Italian family is watching and saying, ‘Oh, the boy has become something.’ They finally believe me,” the 43-year-old tells the “Bild”. But the plans of the two singing TV stars should not be finished with that.
Because a counter-invitation to the “Giovanni Zarrella Show” for the Italian with a powerful voice and always in a good mood seems almost fixed under these circumstances.
