Given the opposition’s complaints that the government would be campaigning for approval, Minister Giorgio Jackson said that La Moneda is complying with the Comptroller’s ruling on disregard.

In this regard, Jackson indicated that the ruling of Comptroller on the presidency of the Executive during the campaign.
“It seems to me that they do not have any basis because the disregard that is expressed in an opinion in the Comptroller’s Office refers to do not occupy public resources or within working hours to demonstrate for a specific option and the Government has fully complied with that,” he said.

Mirosevic backs Jackson
The deputy of the Liberal Party and one of the coordinators of the campaign for the Approval, Vlado Mirosevicassured that the accusations against the Government would be false.
This, since there would be no concrete evidence that public resources have been used in favor of the option and added that the main objective of the accusations would be to cause harm.
Senator of the Independent Democratic Union, Ivan Moreiraassured that along with asking the Government to call the Secretary General of the OAS as an observer of the process, he, for his part, will also appeal to the entity to come to the country to supervise.
