During the final workshop for the advancement of the wheat crop, Al-Qusair explained that President Sisi gave the agricultural file an unprecedented renaissance through giant national projects such as the new delta projects and Egypt’s future, and provides all support for the vertical expansion of strategic crops, especially wheat.
The Minister of Agriculture indicated that the research centers made great efforts to increase the productivity of strategic crops, so the state provides all support for the development of many varieties of wheat.
Al-Qusair explained that the state seeks to diversify its water sources and reclaim land to provide a great deal of food security for citizens.
Al-Qusayr added that the extension fields have a major role in developing the productivity and production of fortified varieties, and the state provides the necessary support to farmers in developing irrigation systems and diversifying water sources, stressing that funds alone are not able to provide for the needs of peoples, but we must develop consumption patterns.
