Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, explained that a medical examination was conducted on all cases, and they were accurately diagnosed, of which 17 were infected.
Abdel Ghaffar pointed out that all cases receive superior medical care from the medical teams present at the Rafah crossing or inside the hospitals. This comes within the framework of implementing the plan prepared to deal with the repercussions of the events in the Gaza Strip, which includes the readiness of referral hospitals, the availability of trained medical staff, in addition to the sustainable availability of medicines, supplies, and blood bags.
