Ministry of Interior Implements Death Penalty: Latest Updates on Makkah Al-Mukarramah Region Perpetrator

Al-Marsad Newspaper: Today, the Ministry of the Interior issued a statement regarding the implementation of the death penalty for one of the perpetrators in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, as follows:

God Almighty said: (The recompense of those who wage war against God and His Messenger and strive to spread corruption in the land is only that they be killed or crucified or their hands cut off. and expel them from the strife, or they will be exiled from the land; that is their disgrace in this world, and theirs is a grievous chastisement in the Hereafter.)

Matar bin Abdullah bin Gwizi Al-Qathami – a Saudi national – killed his father, by stalking him, hitting him with an iron piece several times on the head, stabbing him in the neck with a knife, and then slaughtering him.

By the grace of God, the security authorities were able to arrest the aforementioned perpetrator, and the investigation with him resulted in him being accused of committing his crime, and in referring him to the competent court. Sharia and supported by his reference.

And the death sentence was implemented as a ta’zir punishment against / Matar bin Abdullah bin Ghawezi Al-Qathami – a Saudi national – on Tuesday, 2/12/1444 AH, corresponding to 20/6/2023 AD, in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region.

And the Ministry of the Interior, announcing this to confirm the keenness of the Kingdom’s government to establish security, achieve justice, and implement God’s rulings for everyone who transgresses the innocent or spills their blood, and at the same time warns everyone who dares to do so that the Sharia punishment will be his fate.
