Miscellaneous – Justice | Vaucluse: the stormy episode hit Avignon and Cavaillon and is moving away

If the Vaucluse had largely been spared by the stormy episode which hit the whole of the south-east of France, today, in the evening, the sector of Avignon, Cavaillon and Caumont-sur-Durance has everything it was also the scene of heavy rains as well as strong gusts of wind.

Between 8 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., the Vaucluse firefighters received 70 calls resulting in 20 interventions for falling trees or electric poles in particular. Nothing dramatic therefore, but a significant activity shifted from what had been planned beforehand, with an episode expected rather at the end of the afternoon.
