Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Executive Council and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Future Foundation, the activities of the “Dubai Future Forum” will be launched today, Tuesday, at the Museum of the Future, with the participation of more than 45 international institutions to foresee the future and about 400 experts and future designers. .
Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Managing Director of the Dubai Future Foundation, stressed that Dubai and the UAE are a forum for future experts and a leading global center for transforming their creative ideas into visions and strategies that are realized on the ground and empowering individuals and societies, present and future.
He said: “We learned from His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, that the future can be designed and manufactured, and we aim through the Dubai Future Forum to develop a new global model for designing the future of the world.”
He added: “The participants in the forum will work on drawing future visions for the various vital sectors, identifying the features of the upcoming changes that will shape the headlines of the future, exchanging opinions and experiences on the most important aspects that should be focused on, in addition to informing societies of the most important transformations that we will witness in the coming years and decades.”
Mohammed Al Gergawi added, “The Dubai Museum of the Future will witness, over two days, the largest global gathering, with the participation of hundreds of eminent international personalities, to discuss the future of technology applications, diversify the economy, its flexibility and sustainability, identify challenges of all kinds, and design the best solutions for them.”
He concluded by saying: “Dubai is a global center for future designers and makers from everywhere, and it has succeeded, thanks to the vision of its leadership, to be one of the best cities in the world in anticipating the future. The Dubai Future Forum will be the largest event of its kind to know what we will witness in the coming years and decades.”
