In BG3, there are certain secondary characters who will be able to follow you throughout your adventure. Mol is one of the latter and in this article, we offer you a complete guide to fully understand everything related to this NPC.
Mol in the Emerald Grove (act 1)
Before starting this Baldur’s Gate 3 review, let’s note that we are going to look at the story of this NPC during different acts of the game. If you don’t want to be spoiled, we have indicated to you the act to which each of the parts of this article refers.
Let’s start with the first meeting with Mol which will take place at the Emerald Grove and there, several choices will be important if you want to put this NPC in your pocket. You will have to save the child from the Kagha serpent, side with the Tieflings and above all not ally with the goblins.
Once the goblins are defeated, Mol will leave with the rest of the group towards Baldur’s Gate. You will have nothing more to do, simply continue your adventure while waiting to be able to meet this NPC again a little further, which will not happen in Act 1.
The reunion at the inn (act 2)
Once you arrive in Act 2, you will quickly come across a patrol that will escort you to a safe place, an inn. This is where you will find Mol who will defend you against the mistrust of the guardsrecounting your feats of arms.
Without spoiling the rest of the story if you haven’t experienced it yet, an event will turn everything upside down at the inn and Mol will be missing. You will then receive a quest that will ask you to find the child with two potential locations.
Know that you won’t have to rack your brains looking for Mol given that it is impossible to find him in act 2 of the game. Indeed, this quest will continue and end in the third and final act of Baldur’s Gate 3.
The search for Mol (act 3)
This quest will come to an end when you arrive in the lower city of Baldur’s Gate. Indeed, this is where you will be able to find Mol and to be quite precise, you will have to go to the level of the Guild Hall located at these coordinates (X: -11 Y: 751).
Once there, you find Mol and we let you discover what will happen. Anyway, you can put an end to this quest that will have finally followed you as a common thread throughout your adventure on Baldur’s Gate 3.
