Facebook groups linked to the Ministry of the Interior (Minint) reported that this Monday, March 25, more than 1,600 pounds of cheese were seized in a yutong in central Cuba, in Villa Clara, specifically in Placetas.
According to the “Fuerza del Pueblo” report, the Ministry of the Interior in the Placetas municipality, in the early hours of March 21, carried out an operation on a Yutong bus, on the road to Fomento, where they seized 1,614 pounds of cheese.
“The confiscated cheese was delivered in its entirety to the dairy processor, to optimize its quality and be used for social consumption,” the aforementioned Minint group stated.

In this regard, several Cubans reacted, for and against this measure of confiscating the more than 1,600 pounds of cheese in Cuba.

It is not the first time that Facebook pages, associated with the Minint, transmit the persecution and seizures of private individuals with large quantities of food, in the midst of the current crisis.
