On a political level, the four mayors of the Lower Feldaist region (Hagenberg, Pregarten, Unterweitersdorf, Wartberg) have been well coordinated with one another for years. David Bergsmann, Fritz Robeischl, Johannes Matzinger and Dietmar Stegfellner proved that they also harmonize perfectly vocally at the star singer event in Pregarten at the weekend.
Some residents around the town square were wide-eyed when the mayor’s crowd suddenly appeared in front of their door in star singers’ garb. “It was only last week, at very short notice, that I had the idea of star singing together. Fortunately, my colleagues agreed immediately,” says Pregarten’s mayor Fritz Robeischl about this spontaneously put together singing formation. “We are happy to make a contribution to people in need. There is also a lot of fun when we get together, which is why we are very happy to do this,” confirm the mayors Dietmar Stegfellner, David Bergsmann and Johannes Matzinger.
The group benefited greatly from the musical talent of the mayor of Hagenberg, David Bergsmann, who also accompanied the quartet on the guitar. Nothing should stand in the way of continuing the campaign next year. Then probably in one of the other three RUF communities. Pastor August Aichhorn was impressed by the generally strong participation in the star singer campaign in the Pregarten parish: “In Pregarten alone, 24 groups, from young to old, are out and about for the star singer campaign these days. I would like to thank you all very much for your commitment.”
