Mundial Montreal 2022 announces new names

After a first wave of artists announced last July, the festival is now unveiling 11 additional artists who will take part in the 12e edition of the event.

After announcing that groove&, Helsinki-Cotonou Ensemble, Le Diable à Cinq, Lengaïa Salsa Brava, Moneka Arabic Jazz, Nohe & Sus Santos, Polky and Symbio will take part in the World Montreal 2022, the festival confirms the identity of eleven new artists. African Soul SisterÁnnámáret, AySay, Luna Ersahin, Bab L’Bluz, É.T.É, JINJ, Kubasonics, Maria and the Band, Pierre KwendersPIQSIQ et The Brooks will also take part.

The Speed ​​Schmooze networking event will also resume in person, as will the Mentor Café. World Montreal adds an orientation session, which will thus make it possible to “forge new links from the first day of the event”, we learn by way of a press release. The Artist Lab presented by TuneCore and QUB musique will also return for a second edition. This activity is directly interested in artists and offers them conferences, workshops and the opportunity to meet industry professionals.

World Montreal will offer passes for university students. This pass, called EDU, will allow them to deepen their knowledge of the music industry, as the press release points out.
