Singer Myriam Fares performed the official World Cup song “Toko Taka” with the audience at a concert at the Global Village in Dubai.
And the official account of the “Rotana” website published a video clip of the concert, in which Myriam Fares appeared, singing the song with the audience.
It is noteworthy that the artist, Myriam Fares, revealed the scenes of preparing the official song for the 2022 World Cup, “Toko Taka”.
Myriam said, on the “Arab Wood” program: “Frankly, it is a very sweet project, and for 5 years we have been preparing for it, me and everyone. I heard the first clip of the song and liked it, and I chose it, after I heard many songs, and the artistic vision is very sweet. We performed two songs, but I was convinced of Toko’s song.” Taka and I made the Arabic tune and did its arrangement. All the eastern Arabic music that we hear is my arrangement, and my sister wrote the words for me.
And she continued: “I had a number of words on my mind that included them in the song, meaning, for example, peace be upon you. I wanted to tell people that we are the country of peace, we are artists. All the world, let’s all unite together for the FIFA World Cup.”
She added: “It is very sweet, especially since it is a song that uses the petals of languages in Arabic, English and Latin, even in the form of music and video representing all the countries, in which the Iraqi, Lebanese, Egyptian and Gulf people are present. I am very happy with this cooperation, especially if it was all cooperative. I mean, Malmo sang on my Khaleeji, a successful song.
The artist, Myriam Fares, topped the Twitter trend, after trying to imitate the Colombian singer Shakira in dancing, with the song “Toca Taca”, which promotes the Qatar World Cup 2022.
The International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) announced the release of the new song “Tukoh Taka” on November 18, which is the official song for the FIFA Official Fan Festival, and is included in the list of official music releases for the Qatar World Cup 2022.
The Lebanese singer, Myriam Fares, was subjected to harsh criticism by some audiences after she appeared dancing behind the scenes of her latest song, “Tukoh Take”.
