| Narendra Modi is the first among the popular leaders

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the most popular leader in the world, according to the survey results. In a survey conducted by Morning Consult, Modi’s leap was followed by American President Joe Biden. 75% of Indians surveyed approve of Modi. The survey was conducted between August 17 and 23 this year.

South Korean President Yoon Sook-eol is at the bottom of the poll with only 21% popular support. Russian aggression against Ukraine has negatively affected the ratings of US President Joe Biden, French President Emmanuel Macron, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

Mexican President Andre Manuel Lopez Obrador is second in popularity. 63% of Mexicans approve of him. The third Australian Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese, has the approval of 58% of Australians. Italy’s Mario Draghi is fourth with 54% and Swiss President Igasio Cassis is fifth with 52%.

The survey results show that 72% of Indians believe that Modi is leading the country in the right direction.
