NASA says SpaceX Starship is preparing to enter orbit next month

On October 31 (local time), Archyde.com, citing a NASA official, reported that SpaceX was preparing to launch the first Starship rocket system into orbit. Elon Musk has been preparing for the launch of a Starship rocket that will land in orbit at the Texas launch pad for years.

“We’re tracking four Starship rockets, one of which is scheduled to launch as early as December,” said Mark Kirasich, senior official for NASA’s Artemis Lunar Exploration Program.

The system, scheduled for launch in December, included a 70m superheavy booster and a 50m starship. The super-heavy booster will return to the ground, and the Starship orbiter will launch tens of miles off the coast of Hawaii in 90 minutes.

However, the approval of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will be a variable in the possibility of SpaceX launch. Currently, SpaceX is not approved for orbital flight by the FAA.
