NNA – The Mufti of Tire and Jabal Amel, the judge and scholar Sheikh Hassan Abdullah, said that “what is left of life in this country is compassion and good relations between people, and that the real hope that we derive from the glorious occasions and holidays and the blessed memory of the birth of Christ is more struggle and confrontation with the winds that It establishes a world of monsters, divergence to a symbiotic society that can overcome crises in light of many state officials abandoning their constitutional duties and putting obstacles in front of solutions.
The words of Mufti Abdullah came during his meeting with the head of the “Amal” movement in Tehran, Dr. Salah Fahs, a delegation from the NGO Forum in Tire headed by Khalil Al-Ashqar, the commissioner of the “Imam Al-Sadr Cultural Forum” headed by Dr. Abbas Haidar, and civil and spiritual delegations.
He pointed out, “The real crisis that the country is going through is the path that Lebanon has been practicing through the major countries and the World Bank, which leads to the continuation of crises and their renewal from time to time, and that the only path that contributes to Lebanon’s exit from its crises is a serious project that makes Lebanon a cover for Its people, its land and its capabilities, and studies must be conducted to determine the paths that raise the country to the level of state thinking for real development, and the need for accurate scientific research centers and studies on how to advance the country.
He hoped that “Lebanon would not remain a consumerist society at all levels,” calling for it to “have a strategic plan at the national scientific and economic level,” warning against “attempts to borrow money and debt because Lebanon is unable to pay as a result of policies that are not subject to control and accountability.”
He stressed that “Lebanon needs everyone’s efforts, especially the efforts of executives, cultural associations, and literary and poetic forums, because they constitute a manifestation of civilization that the West and the East see with the eyes of the sophistication of this country.”
Allama Abdullah directed all Christians and Muslims to bless the glorious holidays.
