NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that some of the secret US documents leaked to the Internet contain incorrect data. This leak does not affect the actions of NATO allies when it comes to Ukraine, said Mr. Stoltenberg CNN.
“We have all seen that some of these leaks are false and manipulated,” the NATO Secretary General said. “I don’t think they will affect what NATO allies do when it comes to Ukraine,” he said.
Referring to the information contained in these documents, which indicates that Ukraine may soon run out of ammunition for air defense, Jens Stoltenberg said that military assistance will be crucial in order to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine regain ground.
“A huge amount of weapons, ammunition, equipment has already been provided to Ukraine, but we need to do even more,” Mr. Stoltenberg said.
CNN reviewed 53 documents, all of which appear to have been produced between mid-February and early March. They contain a wide range of highly classified information. The culprit of the leak of secret documents is considered to be a gamer soldier, 21-year-old Jack Teixeira.
