First impressions

Since the first images of Candela Peña as Rosario Porto were presented, The Asunta case has been a source of all kinds of comments. Some express enthusiasm and expectation, but many others point out and not only do they have no good intentions behind them, but they also fuel the rumors and noise surrounding the real case.

The actor Tristán Ulloa spoke about this a few months ago on social networks, sharing through an Instagram post what it is the true purpose of the series and highlighting the documentation work that was carried out before starting the filming phase.

“During the production of this production we have reviewed a number of documents, letters, emails, audios, reports, documentaries, books, newspaper archives, gossip programs of dubious journalistic rigor, testimonies from people directly or indirectly related to the events, spoken with some of they…”, the actor began by saying.

“And of course, also We have received comments of all kinds, some with better intentions than others. Many, most of them, pure rumormongery. And to do a job based on rumors and contribute to the noise, I personally don’t even get out of bed.”

“The challenge here was more ambitious. The challenge here was the moon, not the finger that points at it. Also put the magnifying glass on the tidal movement that it produces. How we position ourselves in the face of certain events, even before having all the information about the table. How it mobilizes us. How emotion, individual and collective, can destroy reason and fundamental rights, leaving all our prejudices exposed. The challenge was not just the obvious”he clarified.
