New Orleans sinks Phoenix again, Joel Embiid is giant

Repeated twice for the Pelicans. Still opposed to the Suns, Zion Williamson (35 points) and his teammates won again. Chris Paul has certainly sent the two teams into overtime but, without Devin Booker, the Phoenix players bow and dive: fourth defeat in a row! For New Orleans, all is well with seven wins in a row and a confirmed first place in the Western Conference.

The Knicks also on a good run. Their victory against the Kings, deprived of De’Aaron Fox, is the fourth in a row. The defense is paying off in New York right now. After four consecutive victories, the Bucks fell against the Rockets, who nevertheless evolved without their coach, bereaved by the loss of his father, former player and coach in the NBA, Paul Silas. Giannis Antetokounmpo and the others were clumsy from afar against Jalen Green’s 30 points.

Orlando has a smile, as never for almost two years. The Magic dominates the Raptors for the second time in a row and with this third victory in a row, the franchise has indeed signed its best series since February 2021! Joel Embiid was huge against the Hornets with 53 points and 11 rebounds! Charlotte tried to resist, but the pivot pulled out the muscles in the last quarter.

Bojan Bogdanovic (38 points) was in good shape, except that in front of him, they were two: LeBron James and Anthony Davis. The first sticks 35 points, the second adds 34 plus 15 rebounds, and the Lakers tame the Pistons of Killian Hayes (5 points and 9 assists). Finally, AJ Griffin is the Hawks’ new “buzzer” gentleman. The rookie scored the winning basket, like a few weeks ago against Toronto, against the Bulls at the end of overtime, on an alley-oop.
