New Spark for macOS gains shared drafts feature

Ukrainian developer Readdle today released another update for the Spark no macOSthis time with a “new feature” that is very familiar to long-time users of the application: the Shared Drafts (Shared Drafts).

This feature, in case you’re wondering, was already available in the old version of the famous email client, which was replaced in 2022 with the arrival of Spark 3.0. Its Mac version arrived almost a year later and, since then, the team behind the app has been working to reintroduce several of its classic features in the new version.

Shared Drafts, according to Readdle itself, was designed “for teammates to create emails together, in real time”. In other words, you can share an email with a colleague so that they can review the text before clicking the send button.

There is also an integrated chat so you can exchange ideas and ask for changes while writing emails to your colleagues. The feature, in addition, also allows someone else to send an email for you on your behalf.

Shared Drafts have been included in the release 3.12.0 of Spark for macOS, which can now be downloaded for free from the Mac App Store. You must have macOS Monterey 12 or higher installed to run the app.
