Detroit Lions at New York Jets 20:17

Amon-Ra St. Brown can still hope for the playoffs with the Detroit Lions. The away win in New York was the third win in a row and the sixth win in the last seven games. The Lions now have a record of seven wins and seven losses – just like the Jets.

The Jets took a 17-13 lead with 4:40 left in the game through a pass from Zach Wilson to CJ Uzomah. The Lions, however, had the right answer. Jared Goff threw a 51-yard touchdown pass to Brock Wright, giving them a 20-17 lead and leaving the Jets just 1:49.

Kicker Greg Zuerlein had to attempt a 65-yard field goal in the final play of the game, but missed.

St. Brown caught seven passes for 76 yards. Quarterback Jared Goff had 252 passing yards and a touchdown pass. Jets passer Wilson had 317 passing yards, two touchdown passes and one interception.

Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints 18:21

The Atlanta Falcons have lost their third straight game, taking their record to five wins and nine losses. Rookie quarterback Desmond Ridder failed to impress, completing just 13 of his 16 passes for 97 yards. The running game was a bright spot because Tyler Allgeier ran for 139 yards.

Andy Dalton, the Saints quarterback, threw for 151 yards and two touchdowns. All-purpose weapon Taysom Hill threw for another 80 yards and a touchdown. Two of the touchdown passes landed in Juwan Johnson’s arms. The Saints are also tied at 5-9 with the win.

Before the game, the Falcons had a moment of shock after defensive coordinator Dean Pees collided with a game during warm-up and had to be taken to the hospital.

Philadelphia Eagles at Chicago Bears 25:20

Already qualified for the playoffs, the Philadelphia Eagles continued their winning streak against the Chicago Bears, improving their record to 13 wins and just one loss. The Bears, on the other hand, who have long since retired from the playoff race, are suffering their seventh loss in a row and have a record of 3-11.

Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts ran for all three touchdowns and 315 yards, but also threw two interceptions. Wide receiver AJ Brown caught passes for 181 yards. Bears quarterback Justin Fields threw for 152 yards and two touchdowns, as well as for 95 yards.

Equanimeous St. Brown, the Bears’ Germany wide receiver, was pulled out of the game with suspected concussion after gaining 20 yards on his first catch.

Kansas City Chiefs at Houston Texans 30:24 nach Overtime

The Kansas City Chiefs struggled against the Houston Texans, but the win secured them a place in the playoffs. Jerick McKinnon scored the decisive touchdown in overtime.

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes delivered a strong game with 336 passing yards, two touchdown passes and a touchdown he ran himself. His favorite pass station was Travis Kelce, who caught passes for 105 yards.

Davis Mills, the Texans passer, only threw passes for 121 yards, but got two touchdowns as a result. The Chiefs are now 13-3 and the Texans are 1-12-1.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Carolina Panthers 24:16

The Pittsburgh Steelers narrowly defeated the Carolina Panthers. Quarterback Mitch Trubisky threw for 179 yards and ran once into the end zone for a touchdown. Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren did the same.

Carolina Panthers quarterback Sam Darnold had 225 passing yards and a touchdown pass. The running game was hardly present with only 21 yards gain. Pittsburgh now has six wins and eight losses with the Panthers 5-9.
