Nico Hulkenberg visited the factory of the Haas F1 team and adjusted the seat of the 2023 F1 machine “VF-23”.
Nico Hulkenberg, 35, will replace Mick Schumacher, whose contract with the Haas F1 team ends after two seasons, in 2023, forming an experienced line-up alongside Kevin Magnussen.

Nico Hulkenberg lost his seat at the end of the 2019 F1 season after ending his contract with Renault. He has come close to the podium several times, but punctures, bad luck and his own mistakes and crashes have prevented him from doing so.
In 2020 and 2022, he made four starts as a Super Sub for Aston Martin, finishing 7th at the 70th Anniversary Grand Prix at Silverstone, but not yet on the podium in 181 races. Stretch again. .
He could extend his record for most race starts without a podium at least 23 more times this year, but Nico Hulkenberg insists he’s not thinking about it.
“I haven’t even thought about it,” Nico Hulkenberg said in an interview with RTL.

Whether or not he has a chance to fight for the podium will likely depend heavily on the VF-23 Haas F1 Team gives him and teammate Kevin Magnussen.
“Even if there is euphoria and joy, it has to be real. It depends on the car,” admitted Hulkenberg.
Aiming to return to F1, Nico Hulkenberg has been stepping up his training, often posting videos of his fitness program on social media.
According to RTL, Nico Hulkenberg is targeting a weight of 75kg.
“The preparation is going well. It feels good to go up again,” said Hulkenberg.
“I have increased my training volume and intensity again and have been more relaxed over the last few years. It feels good to wake up in the morning and feel my body.”
