In a now-deleted tweet, the Game Pass Tracker Twitter account announced that a Brazilian payment app, PICPAY, recently announced that Diablo IV was available on Xbox Game Pass. The advertisement was quickly deleted, suggesting that it might be a publication revealed a little too soon.
However, Mike Ybarra quickly wanted to put the church back in the middle of the village. According to the president of Blizzard Entertainment, Diablo IV is not coming to Game Pass.
Given the colossal success that the ARPG seems to meet, it is indeed unlikely to see it land on the Cloud Gaming service. The game is much more profitable when players buy it between 70 and 100 €.
That said, since the takeover of Activision Blizzard by Microsoft is practically no longer in doubt, it might be that Diablo IV will be available one day on the Game Pass. But it’s probably not in the short to medium term according to a reliable source, namely my (right) little finger.
