Compatible with all 220mm rockets, including the 9M27F HE-Frag (High Explosive Fragmentation) and unguided rockets loaded with fragmentation submunitions 9M27K, 9M59 and 9M27K2. Each rocket weighs 280.4 kilograms, and the warhead weighs between 90 and 100 kilograms; each vehicle can carry 16 rockets, which can be fully launched within 20 seconds at the maximum rate of fire, with a range of 35 kilometers. The new “Tempest” multiple rocket is mainly equipped with a fire control system that shares target information. It can receive target information from forward reconnaissance vehicles or unmanned reconnaissance aircraft. Even when the reconnaissance or transmission is damaged, it can still calculate the target position to provide Calibration Strike.
