No sparks for the last session of the year

The Casablanca Stock Exchange ends 2022 in the red, close to its annual lows, reflecting the negative trend observed throughout 2022, a difficult exercise for the financial markets, in particular due to the tightening of monetary policies exercised by central banks in an inflationary and war context in Ukraine as the economy continues to contract according to the latest HCP statistics published today where the institution notes a “clear slowdown in growth” in the third quarter.

The session was animated by the operations of the end of the year where reclassifications and other round trips and markings of course boosted the volumes. These reach 546 MDH on the central market and 354 MDH on the block market.

At the final bell, 17 values end in the green, 32 in the red and 9 unchanged.
