North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has ordered preparations to launch the country’s first reconnaissance military satellite in April. This was reported by the Central News Agency of Korea (Tstak).
The order was given during a visit to the space development agency, where Kim Jong-un organized a commission to prepare for the launch of the satellite. In his speech, he noted that it is important for the DPRK to have space intelligence capabilities against the backdrop of “threats and challenges” from the United States and South Korea.
