[Comment from General Manager Nao Karai]

“In 1987, the Y.S.C.C. Yokohama junior high school team, which I was involved in as one of the founding members the previous year, played against FC Machida Junior Youth. The manager is Mr. Moriya.
After that, the J-League was established, and after a while, I was able to get involved with FC Machida Zelvia for a total of 10 years from 2010 until now.
During that time, thanks to everyone’s support, the club has grown significantly, and we have reached the point where promotion to J1 has become a realistic goal.
As a professional club in a youth soccer town, I would like to watch over how the club continues to be loved by the citizens and grow as a goal for children.
Thank you everyone. ”

[Comment from Kenji Otomo, President and CEO]

“GM Karai has led FC Machida Zelvia from an amateur club to a professional club, and even acquired a J1 license with his wealth of experience and achievements.
From the 2010 season to the 2012 season, and from the 2016 season to the 2022 season, for a total of 10 years, he has poured his passion into the club.
We, the front desk staff, have taught us what it means to be “professional”, and we are truly grateful and full of gratitude from the bottom of our hearts.
I will do my best to carry on the passion of GM Karai and grow the club. ”
