Al-Marsad newspaper: Al-Ahly club’s golden member, Prince Turki Al-Abdullah Al-Faisal, revealed that no decisive decisions were taken during the club’s general assembly, which was held yesterday, the first after the club was relegated to the first division for the first time in its history.

Prince Turki bin Abdullah Al-Faisal said: “Now it is not a time for reproach, but a time for one man to stand, we are all together and we return to our club and become men.”
He added, “We have not taken any decisive decisions so far, and there is no single administration that controls Al-Ahly Club.” He indicated that other meetings will be held and decisions will be taken.

Al-Ahly finished the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Professional Cup in the 15th and penultimate place with 32 points, to be relegated to the Yellow League for first-class clubs, which exposed Majid Al-Nafie’s management to criticism.
This is the first time in the club’s history that it has been relegated to the lower division of the Saudi League with all its names.
