Objection quickly successful: protest committee granted the LASK the license

This was initially not granted to the people of Linz last Friday, but a protest by the Upper Austrians was immediately successful. Vienna. The committee’s decision still has to be delivered to the people of Linz. The club thanked the responsible league committee on Wednesday for the rapid handling of the protest against the decision made by Senate 5.

Senate 5 had concerns about the recent coaching change. The club parted ways with head coach Thomas Sageder a week ago and presented two interim successors, Maximilian Ritscher and Thomas Darazs. Of these, only Darazs has the necessary license. The concerns have now been clarified.

The Bundesliga also announced that further protests by clubs that were not granted a license or approval for the 2024/25 season in the first instance can still be lodged by the deadline on Monday (April 22). The protest committee’s decisions will be made by April 29th.
