Terrestrial digital radio is taking a new step in its deployment. Arcom has decided to launch DAB+ radios in the Occitanie region, and more specifically in Montpellier, Nîmes, Perpignan, Alès, Béziers and Narbonne.
“DAB+ is now deploying an expanded offer in Nîmes and above all is making its massive entry into the radio landscape in Montpellier, Perpignan and the surrounding area. Listeners in the region therefore join the more than 45% of French people who can listen to digital terrestrial radio in mainland France”, adds Hervé Godechot, member of the Arcom college, president of the “Radios and digital audio” working group.
