The Saudi national team announced, a little while ago, through an official statement issued this evening, Saturday, that one of its stars had been injured, before the start of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The draw of the International Federation of Football Associations, FIFA, placed Saudi Arabia in Group C of the 2022 World Cup, along with the teams of Argentina, Poland and Mexico.
And the official account of the Saudi national team on the social networking site, Twitter, indicated that the player, Riyad Sharahili, had muscle pain, as a result of which he underwent medical examinations, without revealing the period of his absence from the stadiums.

Riyad Sharahili enjoys the confidence of coach Hervé Renard, as the French coach, the Abha player, was included in the World Cup list, in a big surprise, given that the 29-year-old had not played any previous international match.
Saudi Al-Akhdar will face its Argentine rival, next Tuesday, at 12:00 Cairo local time, in its first match in the 2022 World Cup.
Saudi Arabia has previously surpassed the group stage, once, in the 1994 edition, and it is also the most Arab team to participate in the World Cup, equal to the Tunisian and Moroccan brothers, with a score of 6 times.
