A concert of religious music is being held by the Holy Church of Pantanassi Patras, next Monday, April 15 at 7 pm, with the theme “We Worship Your Passions”, at the invitation of the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Patras, Mr. Chrysostomos and the President of the Ecclesiastical Council of the Holy Temple, Fr. Konstantinou Papadopoulou.
The program of the concert will be opened by the BYZANTINE DANCE of “POLYFONIKIS” (Director: Yiannis Kottoros), who will perform the Hymns: “I DIRECT MY PRAYER…”, at the Preconsecrated Divine Liturgy. In the second part of the concert, the Four Voice Church Choir “G.N. TRIANTIS” by I.N. Pantanassis (Director: Theodoros Halkiopoulos), will perform the Hymns: “SE HYMNOUMEN”, Themistocles Polykratis, “THE COMMON ANASTASIS”, Georgiou Triantis, “BLESSED IS THE COMING”, Vassiliou Karpodini, “LIFE EN TAFO”, Themistocles Polykratis, ” BODY OF CHRIST” and “EXIGERTHI”, Georgiou Triantis.
The concert will close with the MIXED CHOIR of “POLYPHONIKI” (Director: Stavros Solomos) which will perform the Hymns: “LORD MERCY”, Harmonization: Patriarch Georgias Ilias, Solo soprano: Maria Papadopoulou
