Kristina Orbakaite tried to stay away from scandals throughout 2022. Even when her mother fell into disgrace, the singer did not make statements or give resonant interviews. On the contrary, the star seemed to have gone into the shadows. She continued to perform, but she hid her personal life as much as possible from all the curious.
But no matter how Christina tried to protect herself, she was nevertheless dragged into the scandal. Quite suddenly, shooting in the show “Duets” on the channel “Russia 1” turned into a real disaster for Orbakaite. The artist took the stage with Igor Nikolaev. And caring spectators criticized the musicians for the choice of outfits. When Kristina stood up to take pictures with a longtime family friend, it became clear to observant fans that her dress and Nikolaev’s jacket together echoed the colors of the Ukrainian flag. In the current difficult situation, many have decided that the artists thus made a statement. Neither Orbakaite nor Nikolaev commented on the scandal.
On New Year’s Eve, Christina left the country altogether. Together with her husband Mikhail Zemtsov and daughter Claudia, the singer enjoys life in the USA. Recently the artist posted a family photo on her microblog on Instagram *, wishing her fans a Merry Christmas.
Meanwhile, Christina is silent about the problems associated with her mother and other family scandals. But the star did not forget to recall the series “Pregnancy Test”, in which she played one of the central roles. Apparently, events in history began to develop rapidly. So, in one of the episodes, the heroine Orbakaite is given two weeks to deal with the problem. So her character, the principled and arrogant Nina Artamonova, will have a hard time.
Recall that it has recently become known that Kristina Orbakaite, contrary to earlier information, will not be able to receive the apartment in Jurmala bequeathed to her by Boris Moiseev. The artist, who died last autumn, long before his death, said that he would leave Orbakaite’s foreign apartments, since he had been close friends with her mother Alla Pugacheva for a long time.
However, with Moiseev’s Jurmala real estate, everything was not so simple. However, it is unlikely that Christina is now very worried about this. After all, it is completely incomprehensible how her future career in Russia will develop, given all the recent events. So the fans are not in vain worried about the star.
