On Lake Geneva, rescuers have regained calm after a deadly weekend

Under his sunglasses, Philippe Bonzon observes the regatta of the day which takes place a few hundred meters from the premises of the Morges rescuers. On the lake, the small green and yellow sails struggle to find the currents necessary to pick up speed. The weather conditions are favorable for swimmers, less so for sailboats. “There is a bit of wind which tends to blow back towards the shore,” says Philippe Bonzon, president of the Compagnie de Sauvetage De Morges. The day looks rather calm.
