The Municipality of the Heroic City of Naoussa, as part of the celebration of the city’s 201st Holocaust Anniversary, is organizing the following events on Saturday, April 22, whose program is as follows:
City Hall, 18:00: Commemoration procession in the city center with the participation of cultural and folklore clubs of the Municipality of H.P. Naoussa, the Philharmonic Society of Naoussa, the Philharmonic Municipality of Veria, etc. The procession will take the following route: Dim. Vlachou, Konstantinidis, Karatasou Square, Venizelou, St. Dragoumi ending at the Holy Church of Agios Georgios where a Grand Multi-hierarchical Vespers of the memory of the Saints of Naoussa New Martyrs will be celebrated. This is followed by a pandemonium litany of the holy icon of the New Martyrs and a commemorative procession heading to the Martyrdom Area (“Kioski”), where a bread offering will be held.
Municipal Park, time 21:00: Historical revival of the Holocaust of Naoussa directed by Vassilis Tsikaras, with the participation of cultural and sports organizations of the city, members of the History and Representation Association of Giannitsa, groups of revivalists, etc.
